Knotch is a Content Intelligence Platform that enables brands to drive business growth through content. We build products for people who use content to drive performance. We also offer Strategic Consulting services which enable brands to achieve new levels of efficiency and effectiveness through ongoing and ad hoc support. Knotch gives marketers a holistic view of content’s performance and provides insights and actions that drive performance and increase efficiency.

About the position:

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Customer Success Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy & Analytics and collaborating closely with our analytics, consulting, and customer success teams, you will play a pivotal role in extracting insights from complex data and translating them into strategic content recommendations that directly connect to business outcomes.

In this role, you'll use AI tools to support data analysis and reporting workflows — while applying human judgment to interpret insights, tailor them to client needs, and drive strategic action. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, works well independently, and brings both precision and big-picture thinking to every project.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets — with AI-assisted workflows — to identify trends, uncover actionable insights, and translate them into concise, strategic content recommendations aligned with client business objectives.
  • Go beyond reporting the numbers — interpret what the data reveals about content performance and propose clear, actionable next steps.
  • Use AI tools to support tasks like generating data summaries, automating visualizations, or streamlining reporting — while maintaining high standards of quality and strategic alignment.
  • Craft compelling, executive-ready presentations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Present findings to clients with clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, customer success) to identify new data opportunities and refine methodologies.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting frameworks, and stay current on tools and approaches in data analysis, visualization and storytelling.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in roles related to customer success, content strategy, marketing, or data insights OR recent graduates with demonstrated academic projects, internships, or portfolio work in these areas.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work with complex data sets and derive clear, strategic insights. Entry-level candidates with coursework in data analysis, statistics, or relevant certifications are encouraged to apply.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • AI-first mindset - familiarity with and enthusiasm about utilizing AI-powered tools to assist with data analysis, visualization, or content summarization (e.g., ChatGPT). We value enthusiasm to learn these tools if you don’t have direct experience.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives. This can be demonstrated through academic papers, presentations, or personal projects.
  • Experience or coursework conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses in a strategic, insights-focused capacity.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets) for data visualization, analysis and reporting. Basic skills and willingness to further develop is acceptable.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively and prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.---

We encourage all employees, clients, investors, candidates, vendors, and friends of Knotch to deliver honest feedback directly or anonymously so that we may always seek to improve as an organization that is dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
